A "best by" date is the maker's estimate of when a seasoning is at its peak flavor. It isn't a safety or expiration date. Dry seasonings like this one don't spoil the way fresh food does. What changes over time is aroma and punch, which fade slowly.
These are still in their original sealed canisters. Expect the same flavor, possibly a touch milder than a fresh batch, so shake on a little extra if you like it hot. Once opened, keep the lid tight and store it somewhere cool and dry. Questions? Ask us.
